*, harry potter, recasting, ugly stuff made by a bored person, racebending, elyes gabel, jessica sula, antonia thomas, peter mensah, amrita acharia, dong lover, sendhil ramamurthy, when i was a kid i thought that hermione was black, i don't know why, i didn't think that trelawney was white either, i know that the ages aren't perfect but i tried to keep all students under the age of 26, (with the exceptions of amara and harry but they were too perfect to pass up), and the mauraders approximately in their forties, re: the characters whose ethnicities don't match up (e.g. the blacks - i mean the house not the race):, sometimes mixed-race people tend to pass as one of their ethnicities so...just go with that idea or pretend there's adoption, i know that i'm missing tons (barty crouch nearly headless nick seamus filch a bunch of profs etc.) but oh well,
