Today’s getting ready music was my entire collection of The Hold Steady on shuffle. Craig Finn, let me touch your face and your vocal cords, I love you so much. I also love that one time my mom and I were listening to The Hold Steady in the car and she couldn’t stop laughing at “Don’t tell the dancers, they’ll just get distracted.” When Heaven Is Whenever came out, I listened to that and nothing else for three weeks straight. The Hold Steady never gets old for me.
